infection spreads
i think we went to bed at 7:30 last night.  well, r fell asleep and i watched tv till futurama came and went, then i passed out.  i didn't get any thesis work done last night which is discouraging.  dad left this morning with my check so he can put it in my bank.  i hate that bank of america doesn't exist in louisiana.  one of those deals where the government won't let any business in all 50 states to block a monopoly or something.  weird, and annoying.  i like my back too much to change though.  gosh - i need to call and cancle the electric and water for the old place this week.  its pretty much finished there.  r is picing up what's left sometime this week.  next weekend i'm putting the finishing touches on the new place so we can have company.  but i'm only devoting a couple hours to it.  the rest of the weekend is thesis time.  its tough getting any time at night trying to weed through dinner, cleaning up from dinner and getting aiden through his home work.  by the time i'm done i'm too tired to think straight and i'm useless.  i have a plan of action for aiden's b-day.  i still need to figure out r's b-day.
we were taking off the many, many bags of clothes aiden and i don't fit anymore (me do to weight, him because he's getting taller) to the goodwill place and as we were un loading them i saw a pile of books near the delivery door.  i asked the guy if they were his and he said they were donations.  i said i would like very much to buy them please.  one of them was "the Earth Through Time" the book we'd used in my historical geology class.  ECSU rents books to students.  now mind you, they charge you 300 bucks to rent them, so you're nearly as well off to just buy them your self, but i couldn't afford to at them time with aiden and the whole lack of a real job thing.  and on top of this, it had the study guide book that goes with it.  the guy said i could just have them (i told you we brought in a TON of stuff).  i got those two and a psychology book.  i'm soooooo happy!!!.  now i just need new bookshelves to put them on!  lol.
aiden started reading green eggs and ham last night.  surprizingly it has a ton of the words he's got to learn for class in it this week.  like box, fox, in, on, not, to, here, and, etc...  so it was a good choice for him to make!  He struggles with it a little though.  he has a tendancy not to read the would but blurt out what he thinks should come next.  i have to constantly ask him to keep focused on the word in front of my finger.  r and my dad both think he's ADD.  hell, i thought it.  but he was doing so much better lately.  i haven't been able to take him swimming in a while though because the pool had been green.  so he hasn't been getting enough exercise.  i think that REALLY helps him focus, to bleed off some of that stored energy.  he's eating like a horse now - which is sooooo relieving.  anywho - i have to run shave my legs and finish getting us ready.  have a good one kitties.
