sitting in front of r's computer waiting for my hair to dry so i can get dressed and drag my booty to workies.  a couple of aiden's cousins are in town so he went to play with them for a couple hours last night.  i picked him up and took him to pick out a bookbag for this school year.  on the way home in the car he started crying because he didn't want to leave this morning to go to florida.  he wanted to stay home with me and r.  ::beams::  he doesn't start school till the 11th, so dad is keeping him till then.  they left this morning.  i promised to call every day and told him he was going to be having a blast at his appy's.  but it well and truely made me fantastically happy that he wanted to stay home with us.  it was something of a first.

the old apartment got finished off last night - i turn in the keys today.  this weekend we finish the painting jobs and then starting putting stuff up where it belongs, instead of all piled in my library.  i'm going to take some short videos at that point and put them on my photobucket account.  i'll update on that later.  tonight i'm going to do the first real cooking in the kitchen - going to make speghetti, mm....  

this will also be the very first night that r and i have the house all to our selves.  HEHE!!!  time to make it well and truely ours.  yeep.  

my dad got us a lawn mower last night and mowed our lawn for us.  i'm bizzarrely looking forward to doing that myself soonish.  going to get a rake soon and get rid of the excess.
