the dreaded question came up yesterday with aiden.  "if daddy wasn't there to help you make me with the two special parts of the egg, who was?  what was his name?"  just an idle question.  yesterday of all days.  we were all three snuggled down on the couch when it happened.  not having a ready made answer was super bad plan number 1.  i reminded him about the talk where i told him someone else had helped me make him.  i think then was when he asked who.  i shift my eyes to r momentarily floundering for an answer.  really this whole thing sucked.  so i tell him it was someone momma knew a long time ago, his name was jb (internal struggle, do i give whole name, james bernard bailey, do i give a last name, do i just say jb? argh...) and that when aiden was much older i might take him to meet him or something.  i think i kept one picture of him some freaking where for this day.  but heck if i know where that is now.  

this weekend was not good on a lot of fronts.  i didn't get my prescription refilled till yesterday.  by which time i was so freaking dizzy and nauseous and weak limbed i had to get r to drive me to get it.  i really need to get better about getting it before i run out and taking it on time on the weekends.  this blows chunks.  but it works when i take it so i can't blame the meds.  luckily i had taken them a few hours before aiden's whole curiosity thing. 

its becoming more real that we're getting a house.  r and i have been researching the best ways to get wall paper off (there's a freaking lot in this house) and we've decided on steam.  no chemicals and you can get a really good steamer for about the price of the chemicals you'd use on one room and the steamer works for ever and can do other things like sanitize your floors, counters, etc...   AWESOME!!!  it would be wonderful for cleaning the house when we first move in, in addition to taking off the wall paper before we move all of our stuff in.  

we really do need to get more serious about packing.  ::grins::

anywho kitties.  its off to work for me.  actually not running terribly late for once.  ackfoo!   i hope you all have wonderful days my kitties.  big smooches and squishes!!!

 

 did the presentation tonight - left early afterwards cause r is sick and i needed to get home to help with aiden's homework.  i left nauseous.  i forgot most of what i should have said, i was beet red, i stuttered, i was NOT happy.  ICK.  so - yeah, not feeling like i did a great job.  BUT - although i couldn't verbalize it ( I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE IN THAT FREAKING CLASS!!!) i did know my shit at least. sigh...  not happy
